The Cherry is a non-playable entity in EvoWorld.io. It was added on April 10, 2018.

Appearance

The Cherry looks like a green stem in the shape of an upside down V connected to two red circles. On top of the green stem is a small brown part, presumably to keep the two green parts together without breaking.

Behavior

Spawns in tree foliage. Remains stationary, unaffected by gravity. Those who can't eat this fruit just phase through it.

Strategies and Info

Cherries are a great source of EXP for every tier (except the Cosmic Big Eye where you're better off eating the Cosmic Fruit). Higher tiers eat Cherries in fewer bites, but they yield less Exp. Cherries have high demand and they are plentiful. Parrots should eat these and Currants rather than Starfruit as Starfruit are usually far away from where you are as a Parrot. This fruit can be used to a player's advantage to escape a predator by having them bump into the cherries while you pass through them. Many tiers (especially Parrots) are found near trees eating Cherries and Acorns, so that's a good place to look for someone to eat.

Trivia

• The Acorn spawns from the Cherry tree. This does not make sense in real life, as Acorns grow from oak trees.
• The Cosmic Big Eye can eat the Cherry in a touch. The Parrot, if lucky, can also do so. A Blackbird or Maroon Bird using its ability can also do this.
• It is sometimes called Berry.
• It is one of the non playable entities to not have any quotes.
• It is one of the few non-playable entities that is impossible to be killed by reapers.
• It is one of the smallest non-playable entities.
