The Cosmic Big Insect is a non-playable entity in EvoWorld.io. It was added on April 13, 2018.

Appearance

The Cosmic Big Insect looks similar to a rhinoceros beetle, with a dark red body with lighter red stripes. It has sharp teeth and six claws (three on each side) serving as feet and legs.

Behavior

Spawns on medium to very large floating islands in space, where many stars were located. Wanders around at a rapid pace, occasionally stopping. Usually unaffected by gravity (unless glitched). It takes 3 minutes to respawn.

Strategies and Info

This can eat most animals, so if you're ever near it, stay away! Cosmic Angry Eyes can eat this, but the Cosmic Big insect deals more damage, so they should heal before finishing. If you do this, be careful as Cosmic Bats or reapers could easily eat you due to your low health. This entity appears on both of the giant floating islands in the extremes of Space, one can be found on a large island that's almost above the Castle, and three can be found on the large area above the City. Cosmic Big Insects are great food for Cosmic Bats too, especially since they don't take damage from the Insect. Cosmic Big Insects take a long time to respawn after being eaten, but they can usually be found since very few players are usually able to eat it at any given time.

Trivia

• If Blocks are under this entity, players tend to bug themselves in the blocks and glitch the Cosmic Big Insect. If unsuccessful, the Cosmic Big Insect will jump over your head and go back to its starting position. If lucky, the Cosmic Big Insect may get bugged and might glitch out of the Server Barrier.
• Cosmic Big Insects will occasionally say "FSSSSSTTT!" "Hisss!" or "Klk! Klk!"
• Like the Cosmic Eye, it is affected by the light gravity in space and can get bugged.
• It is one of the biggest non-playable entities.
• It, along with the Zombie, is the only non-playable animal that can eat the Pterodactyl without taking damage.
• On the map, there are six Cosmic Big Insects.
