The Evil Rat, also called the Mad Rat, is a non-playable entity in EvoWorld.io. It was introduced on July 14, 2020.

Appearance

The Evil Rat looks very similar to the Giant Rat, except having white fur instead of brown fur, and red eyes instead of yellow eyes. It is smaller than the Giant Rat but larger than the Mouse.

Behavior

Two spawn in the City Underground, but they spawn mostly inside the Sewage Treatment Plant. Wanders around at a fast pace nonstop. If there is no barrier, an Evil Rat can end up in a pool of Toxic Water. Like Mice, they can sometimes get clipped into walls similar to Fish, but due to their bigger size, it will probably be because of a player pushing them into a border and not because of a bug. They take 45 seconds to respawn.

Trivia

• Evil Rats will occasionally say "Fcccchhhh!", "Fcccccchhhhhh!", or "Grrr!".
  • It shares its quotes with the Giant Rat.
• It is larger than Mice and is smaller than the Giant Rat.
• Since it's in the Sewage Treatment Plant, it could have once been a normal rat or mouse but got infected by the toxic waste, or an experiment was done to it (it doesn't actually happen in the game though).
• There is another version of the Evil Rat in GameDev Market. The Giant Rat is one of the versions.
• On the map, there are nine Evil rats.
