The Giant Rat is a non-playable entity in EvoWorld.io and a food exclusive to the Demonic Imp (out of all the animals that can eat it, only the Demonic Imp will get XP from it). It was added on April 23, 2021.

Appearance

The Giant Rat looks very similar to the Evil Rat, except having yellow eyes instead of red eyes, and brown fur instead of white fur. It is also much bigger than the Evil Rat, hence the name "Giant Rat".

Behavior

Spawns underground in the Iced Cave, guarding 3 pieces of Meat as well as a pool of water with Piranhas and Fish. Wanders around at a very fast pace nonstop. Another spawns in the castle, guarding Meat, Bread, and a Black Widow cave. It takes 3 minutes to respawn.

• It is the brown, much larger version of the Evil Rat and Mouse.
• Similar to Evil Rats and Fishes, it can be sometimes clipped into the walls, although it is hard to do it, as the giant rat will either severely injure or kill most animals that touch it.
• It is one of the biggest non-playable entities.
  • It is so big that it is bigger than the Demonic Angel's size, being 9 by 3 blocks.
• Giant Rats will occasionally say "Fcccchhhh!", "Fcccccchhhhhh", or "Grrr!"
  • It shares its quotes with the Evil Rat.
• The Giant Rat in the Iced Cave appears to move faster than the one in the Castle. This is because the snow in the cave makes the one in the Iced Cave faster.
• On map, there are two Giant Rats.
