Fruit Eater-ability

Fruit Eater

TYPE:
Passive

DESCRIPTION: You have a 25% chance to eat a fruit in one bite

Strategies & Tips[]

As a Parrot[]

  • There are three ways to play as a Parrot: either you stick to trees and eat all the Cherries and Acorns in your way, eat all the Bread and Worms in the City biome, or risk yourself in the Jungle biome and try to have a bite of the far more beneficial Starfruit. The former is safer but tedious due to the Parrot's abysmal eating speed and the low XP yield of Acorns and Cherries, and the latter is quicker but much riskier due to the Starfruit's comparatively immense XP yield, your ability, and the fact Pterodactyls and other predators will be hanging around this biome quite a lot, and it is really far out of the way (but you can head to the Jungle while eating food as a Blue Bird). Be careful!
    • If the server isn't populated, try to have a go at Bread and Worms, which serve as a sort of middling ground for either strategy above.
  • The Parrot's ability can make it easier to farm Cherries and Starfruit. As a result, it is recommended to eat those foods.
  • When escaping from predators, there are some things to note:
    • 1- Narrow (1 block) vertical passage? Evolved due to an Egg? See a predator? The only exit is the narrow passage? The cave doesn't go further/it is a Black Widow cave? You are dead. Not big surprise.
    • 2- You can go after Starfruit. Predators luring there are kind of rare (even Pterodactyls), you have your ability, and you can come back using the Black Hole portal in the Demonic biome.
      • 2.5- You also can go to the big lake on the Jungle when you evolve, there are Fish.
        • 2.75- Predators cannot see you in the cave. Because there is nearly no one going there, they ignore that place.
    • 3- Space is a dangerous place to eat Bread. Cosmic Bats that came from a dead Pumpkin or a reaper will be there.

As the predator of a Parrot[]

  • If you are a predator, the Parrot is not the best meal, as usually if you can eat this you can eat Storks or Red Birds. However, it is big, and if you see one on low health, and if you can eat it, go for it. If it runs away, do not chase it, unless it goes to the water. Storks are even more big, though.
