Rabbits are NPCs in EvoWorld.io. It is a temporary NPC that only spawns during Easter events.

It occurred in 2024's Easter event from March 30, 2024 to April 7, 2024. It also occurred in 2023's Easter event from April 7, 2023, and 2022's Easter event from April 15, 2022, to April 20, 2022. It also occurred in the Easter event of 2021 from April 1, 2021, to April 5, 2021.

Overview

Rabbits are periodic and exclusive NPCs. Unlike every NPC, Rabbits give Gems when eaten, making them easily one if not best source of food to eat. However, you cannot gain EXP from eating rabbits. Rabbits are also the only NPCs that are able to be eaten by every character (except ghosts) as well as being unable to eat any character.

Behavior

Spawns in the Sky over the Grassland, City, and the land portion of the Arctic during the Easter event. Spawn rates are highest in the city. On more crowded servers, overall spawn rate is faster too. Wanders around at a fast pace, occasionally stopping. If it falls in a liquid it will be destroyed shortly upon impact.

All players except Ghosts can damage the rabbit, and the player who kills it will be rewarded with one gem. The player who kills the rabbit will have a Double Fireworks effect and a gem symbol will appear above their head temporarily. The player will also see a message on the bottom of their screen saying that they got 1 gem. A player can gain a maximum of 300 gems from one event.

Tips

• Use high tiers such as the Grim Reaper if farming rabbits so you can kill competitors and ensure you're not killed when targeting the rabbit.
• You can also use low tiers such as the Fly or Hornet if farming rabbits so you can focus on the rabbit instead of predators, since you don't have many.
• Try to steal the rabbit at the last moment by diving onto it. This is best done using a character with the Swoop Ability.
• Due to people being desperately attached to the rabbit, they'll tend to risk their life just for one gem.
• The player has no attack cooldown on the rabbit, so you can swiftly kill the rabbit with ease. Consider trapping the rabbit in position or riding the top of the rabbit.

Trivia

• Despite being edible by all players, the rabbit does not appear with a green outline.
• This is the only NPC to have spawned temporarily (4 times), and then be removed.
• This is also the only NPC that can be destroyed when falls in water.
• You aren't able to kill rabbits as a Ghost, likely to prevent abusing the ghost's immortality ability and that the Ghost will pass through any object.
• The Rabbit is one of the few NPCs that do not have any quotes.
• The Rabbit is one of the few entities in EvoWorld.io that also appears in Mope.io, a similar .io game (the Rabbit is playable in mope.io).
