Strategies & Tips[]
As a Raven[]
- It can be summed up as a Falcon with a higher emphasis on non-playable food. It can be pretty tedious to farm these sources of food especially given it takes four times as much XP to level up, but it's generally rather worth it if one is dedicated - and lucky, as your next tier will be very rewarding.
- You can head Underground or in the Pyramids as Bread is scattered all around and tends to lure low-to-mid-tier avians, surprising them with an ambush attack. Plenty of Snakes are also located in the Pyramid.
- Woodpeckers are a good source of XP, and even if another player is eating it, you can almost certainly pluck it right out of the tree thanks to your Bloodthirstiness ability.
- Also, you can farm Dead Fish in the Desert as well as Snakes, or you can farm Frogs and Dead Fish in the Swamp. If there are no Storks, the latter is the better option. Otherwise, the former one is better.
- The Jungle and the Ice Castle have a lot of Meat allowing for a quick level up. However, both are risky. The Ice Castle has a Yeti which guards the Meat, and your long hitbox makes it hard to get to. In addition, you could get trapped by a Demonic Imp or a Phoenix who'll eat the Yeti. In the Jungle, meat is spread far apart and there could be Pterodactyls. You're their second biggest source of XP, so they're likely to pursue a long chase with you.
- In the latter case, you should search for Mad Bats, since Pterodactyls gain more XP from them than from Ravens, giving you a chance to escape.
- Try to avoid Swamp Monsters as much as possible! You are the third most beneficial player-controlled animal to them, and you are going to be poisoned after the attack! However, you can use your thin Hitbox to your advantage to hide in tight caves.
As the prey of a Raven[]
- A Raven might head Underground or in the Pyramids more often than other animals to target its prey, putting you at risk as a low-to-mid tier avian trying to target underground and pyramid Breads. Stay alert, especially if your visibility is reduced!
- Ravens also tend to hang around the Swamp, but if you stay aware of your surroundings, it should be easy to escape.
As the predator of a Raven[]
- As said, they'll likely be in the Pyramid. Trap them in here, especially if they're in the Underground portion, since they have limited visibility.
- As a Swamp Monster, if you are lucky to find a Raven at the Swamp, chase it. It will likely to be poisoned by you, guaranteeing easy XP.

Trivia[]
- The Raven's hitbox makes it easier to push entities out of the server barrier by pushing.
- Due to its hitbox, it is also one of the animals that is the most difficult to go out of the server barrier by pushing.
- It's hitbox make it easier to be set on fire or poisoned by a predator, making this animal a bit harder to evolve.
- The Raven is one of the few animals in EvoWorld.io that also appears in Mope.io, a similar .io game (the Raven is playable in mope.io).
