The Shark is a non-playable entity in EvoWorld.io. It was added on June 13, 2018.

Food Chain Status

Note: '*' means the Shark can either eat or be eaten by this animal.

Can eat:
- Anything before Stone Eater
- Demonic Bat
- Cosmic Insect
- Pterodactyl Child*
- Pterodactyl*

Can be eaten by:
- Pterodactyl Child* (2400 XP)
- Pterodactyl* (1000 EXP)
- Ghostly Reaper (does not award XP)
- Pumpkin Ghost (does not award XP)
- Grim Reaper (does not award XP)

Behavior

Spawns underwater, in the Ocean and the Arctic ocean biomes. Wanders around at a moderate pace nonstop, unaffected by gravity.

Strategies

As a Duck, Pelican, or Seagull, be careful. A Shark can ambush you and kill you, due to your vision loss.
- Also, when evolving from these animals, you may not see a Shark coming (due to visibility loss) until it's too late to swim away, so stay close to the surface when close to evolution to reduce risks of a Shark hurting or killing you.
Eat them instead of Crocodiles as a Pterodactyl Child or a Pterodactyl. They are in more hidden locations, where there will be less people. Be careful, as the shark can bite back and potentially kill you.

Trivia

The Shark appears to resemble a great white shark due to its color.
If the Shark is pushed up with enough force and players, it can be teleported to somewhere where it will be stuck. Sometimes it can be stuck in small lakes.
It is one of the non playable entities to not have any quotes.
It is one of the biggest non-playable entities.
Unlike in real life, the Shark can't eat Fish, and Fish will never spawn in the path of a Shark.
The Shark is one of the few entities in EvoWorld.io that also appears in Mope.io, a similar .io game (the Shark is playable in mope.io, unlike in EvoWorld.io).
Formerly, no animals could eat it.
