Skills, also known as Abilities, are a feature that every character in the game possesses, and may be used for defense, offensive, both, or other ways to support the said character. Each skill has a type which indicates whether it is automatic (or passive) or must be activated by the player (or active).

Passive skills are automatically triggered under certain conditions; for example, when a Fly's predator attempts to attack it, the Fly's skill will automatically release an orange note saying "Miss" and the said Fly will not receive damage. Active skills are triggered when a user (on mobile) taps on a special skill icon near the bottom-right corner of their screen or (on PC/laptop) clicks space or right-clicks.

Below are a list of skills currently in the game describing what they do and what they are.

Beginner’s Luck[]

DESCRIPTION: You have a 50% chance to dodge a predator's attack. Note: a text colored in orange reading "Miss" will appear on your character.

DESCRIPTION: You become invisible to predators and transparent to all other characters when in contact with a Flower.

DESCRIPTION: You have a 20% chance to infect a predator who is in contact with you, with the exception of the reapers (Ghostly Reapers, Pumpkin Ghosts, and Grim Reapers). When infected, they will turn red and lose 1% health every second until they contact Water.

DESCRIPTION: You have a 25% chance to sting a player or alive NPC you can consume. If poisoned, they lose 2% of max health per second until they contact water.

DESCRIPTION: You swim faster and hold your oxygen levels longer when underwater. You also have better vision underwater and hold the speed of your oxygen drop when you evolve.

DESCRIPTION: You glide (can't fly) for 3 seconds (or until you hit something). If you hit prey or food you do double damage.

DESCRIPTION: You have a 40% chance to find a worm on the ground (only the surface Blocks in Grasslands or the Jungle). If you found a worm, you gobble it up instantly.

Excellent Hunter (Owl, Snowy Owl)[]

DESCRIPTION: You deal critical damage to players in a 10% chance (Snowy Owl has no player-controlled prey so this does not matter) and non-playable food with a 50% chance.

Speed Up (Falcon, Eagle, Hawk, Pumpkin)[]

Cooldown time: 7s

Description: You increase your speed rapidly (but shortly).

Hidden Skill (Pumpkin only): You quench your thirst in the Fire of Death.

Rage (Mad Bat)[]

Rage-ability

Type: Passive

Description: You have a 25% chance to deal critical damage to prey and food (both player-controlled Characters and non-playable entities). You also have full vision in the dark.

Thick Skin (Pterodactyl Child, Pterodactyl)[]

Block-ability

Type: Passive

Cooldown: 25s

Description: You block the next attack (Note: You can't block the Fireball and Flame abilities).

Poisoning (Swamp Monster)[]

Poisoning Ability

Type: Passive

Description: You have a 100% chance to poison a prey (players and alive prey only). If a prey is poisoned then every second it loses 3% of max health. The only way to be detoxified is to drink water.

Hidden skill: You swim and quench your thirst faster in mud.

Stone Skin (Stone Eater)[]

Type: Passive

Description: You have a 75% chance to block an attack.

Hot Bath (Demonic Egg Eater)[]

Type: Passive

Description: You can swim in lava. In addition, you quench your thirst in lava.

Fear (Demonic Bat)[]

Fear-ability

Type: Passive

Cooldown time: 20s

Description: If you touch a victim (players only) it's paralyzed (can't fly, but can still go left or right) for 4 seconds. You have full vision in the dark. Also, you can swim in lava. You quench your thirst in lava.

Burn in Hell (Demonic Imp)[]

Burn in Hell-ability

Type: Passive

Description: You have a 33.33% (or 1/3) chance to set a prey on fire (only players and alive prey). If the prey is set on fire then every second it loses 5% of max health. The only way to extinguish the fire is to drink water. Also, you can swim in lava. You quench your thirst in lava.

Fireball (Dragon)[]

Fireball-ability

Type: Active

Cooldown time: 8 seconds

Description: You create a fireball. If the fireball touches a victim, the victim loses 25% of max health and is set on fire (only players). When the prey is on fire then every second it loses 3% of max health.

Hidden skill: Fireballs produce light, if a fireball hits a block, wall or non-playable entity that is not its prey, the fireball disappears.

Flame (Phoenix)[]

Type: Active

Cooldown Time: 8 seconds

Description: You have a 100% chance to set prey on fire. If the prey is on fire, it loses 5% of its max health every second. The only way to extinguish fire is to go in water (or mud). Also, you can swim in lava you quench your thirst in lava.

*Note: Fire is in a small radius around you making a star formation.

Hidden Skill: Using your skill in the dark will make you have better vision.

To the Moon (Cosmic Insect*, Cosmic Big Eye, Cosmic Angry Eye, Cosmic Bat, Overfed Cosmic Bat**)[]

To The Moon-ability

Type: Passive

Description: In space you move naturally and lose less oxygen. If your oxygen level is low, look for Cosmic Plants.

*Note: Cosmic Plants also give XP to Cosmic Insects.

**Note: Code-wise, this is the ability for the Overfed Cosmic Bat, but since it can't move, so it doesn't matter for it. By the way, it's invincible.

Immortality (Ghost)[]

Type: Passive

Description: You are immortal. You can take a break from the game.*

Hidden Skill: You have full vision in the dark.

*Note: If you stay inactive in the server for too long, you might disconnect and will respawn as a Fly with 0 XP.

Scythe Attack (Ghostly Reaper, Pumpkin Ghost, Grim Reaper)[]

Scythe-ability

Type: Active

Cooldown time: 0.5s

Description: You throw your scythe to kill prey (all kinds of prey, the only method to kill prey). Damage the scythe deals is 25% (Ghostly Reaper) 30%, (Pumpkin Ghost) and 35% (Grim Reaper).

Hidden Skill: You have full vision in the dark (since Ghostly Reaper can enter most cave systems, only it will use its hidden skill effectively).
