The Snowy Owl is an animal in EvoWorld.io and the twenty-fourth animal stage a player can achieve. You can spawn in as this animal with a level 23 account or higher. It was added on 7 July 2018.

Appearance[]

The Snowy Owl looks like a regular Owl, but its feathers are all white (except the outlines), and the snowy owl is slightly bigger than the regular owl.

Food Chain Status[]

The EXP values listed below assume the player has no Bonus Codes or other boosters. If the player does have one, multiply the value shown by the EXP bonus (as a decimal, not a percent) to find how much XP will be gained.

Note: '%' means that the entity will only get a fraction of the Snowy Owl's EXP.

  • Can eat:

Entities that the Snowy Owl can eat

Below is a list of entities that players using the Snowy Owl can eat, and the EXP that is derived from eating that entity. Entities with an orange background below can mutually damage the Snowy Owl

DESCRIPTION: You deal critical damage to players in a 10% chance (the Snowy Owl has no player controlled food so this does not matter) and non-playable food with a 50% chance. You also have a better vision in the dark.

Strategies & Tips[]

As a Snowy Owl[]

  • To the Arctic you go! This is a very risky and dangerous animal, two choices for gaining exp - either hunt Penguins, which are widely competed by other high-tier animals, or hunt the more exclusive Lemmings. With either choice, you're at risk - nearly all animals that can eat Penguins can eat you as well, while eating Lemmings involves going underground, in a tight space where ambushes are easy. Also, other animals that can eat Penguins but not you have abilities to escape from predators (Eagle, Hawk) or steal the Penguin right under your nose (Raven). Stay alert, as it is one of the riskiest animals to play as besides Bat (eats in closed areas) and Pigeon (lots of predators)!
    • With that being said, you should be cautious and know your surroundings, as well as check the map.
  • You have three options for XP, all with upsides and downsides. One is the underground in the eastern Arctic (the ground next to the Grassland. This area is the riskiest but has a lot of Lemmings and Penguins just above it, allowing for easy XP as long as there are no predators. The next is the Icebergs. This is not nearly as risky but Penguins here will quickly be eaten up by predators, so it's hard to gain XP here. The last is the Ice Castle's underground. Like all Underground locations, this can be risky, but isn't as risky as the other undergrounds since it's more isolated. It also has a lot of Penguins and a decent number of Lemmings, so all in all, this is probably the best location.
  • If you're going to eat Lemmings underground, then be wary of Lemmings in the dead-ends, which are very risky to enter in. There are two major reasons for this:
    • Predators that got underground can corner you and eat you, which means you are definitely dead (unless a miracle happens)
    • Sometimes there are trollers (Hornet, Fly, etc.) that want to trick you, push you inside and let you die by dehydration! If such a thing happens, you must follow these steps to get out:
      • Hold the right or left button (depends on which way the exit is) and jump as much as possible, to get out easier.
      • Don't respond/use emojis, because that will solve almost always nothing, and it distracts you from getting out. If their purpose was not trolling you, then they would have got out and let you go already.
    • If you insist on eating the Lemmings in those dead-end corners, then you must stay as close to the exit as possible, or you might get trolled or cornered!

As the predator of a Snowy Owl[]

  • Head to the arctic, this is where its only food is.
  • If a Snowy Owl is hunting for Lemmings underground, it is a perfect time to ambush it if you are a predator.
    • However, the Snowy Owl has a slight vision advantage underground, so if you don't have night vision, it may see you before you can attack it.
  • Since there's Penguins in the Ice Castle, you can take a peek in there to try to trap one.
  • As a Mad Bat, you deal little damage to Snowy Owls. The only way you'll have a good chance at killing one is in the underground system. If you can, congratulations, they're your best source of XP.
  • Remember that it is extremely annoying to the players as they cannot run away due to their limited food locations, so it would be cruel to kill one.
  • If you see a Snowy Owl underground in a dead-end, then you can go eat them, beware though, if a troller is not letting them go, and if you aren't a Phoenix (to make them burn and die from further away), then you too could get trolled and that might be a game over to dehydration or to the hands of a Ghostly Reaper that barges in and kills everyone.

Trivia[]

  • The Snowy Owl is one of the few animals in EvoWorld.io that also appears in Mope.io, a similar .io game.
  • It is one of the hardest of all of the characters to level up in the game.
  • It's the only creature that Flies, Butterflies, Mosquitoes, Wasps, Dragonflies, Hornets and Stone Eaters want to troll since they're often underground and sometimes they also go to dead end places.
  • If a player spawns as this character, they will spawn in the Arctic.
