Stone Eater

The Stone Eater is the 31st character that can be achieved in EvoWorld.io. Players with a level 30 account or higher can spawn as the Stone Eater. It was added on 26 October 2018.

Below is a list of entities that players using the Stone Eater can eat, and the EXP that is derived from eating that entity. The base EXP is that for a player with no bonuses. Strategies & Tips[]

As a Stone Eater[]

Just eat Stones. Stones are everywhere, with a higher concentration on the Desert and the Demonic biomes. Both are in the east, which leads you to the Demonic Biome. Don't worry if there are no stones for you, as they will respawn.
Eating other Stone Eaters is risky unless the opponent has lower health than you, so if you are eating a Stone at the same time, or if your blocking ability works more times than the opponent's.
If you don't see another Stone Eater, don't try to find one as they are very rare to find. Instead, just stick to eating Stones.
Be careful of the reapers (since they are the only ones who can predate you besides the Small Demon, the Zombie, and other Stone Eaters), who are jealous of you having no predators other than them or other Stone Eaters. Despite the fact that your ability tends to block the damage done by their scythes, they can still harm and kill you with enough lucky hits.
If you are getting chased, don't evolve unless you're in the Demonic biome. Your evolution loses the ability to block attacks, so it's particularly vulnerable. Eat a stone next to a cave entrance, and enter the cave when you evolve ASAP. Don't attempt this if you're already below 50% HP or if a Ghostly Reaper is waiting in the Demonic cave.
Don't forget that your ability only blocks damage done by attacks from players/entities, so don't even try to swim in lava or get into the Fire of Death. Those will still harm you normally, and it's very risky when reapers or trollers are nearby.

As another Stone Eater[]

It's harmless against any other entity that is not itself. Even its next stage, the Demonic Egg Eater, cannot eat any player-controlled Characters, so ignore it if you are not a predator.
However, as a Stone Eater, you can try to kill a fellow Stone Eater, but it can be risky. If you drop to below 50% of your health, flee and eat stones to upgrade, preventing the other Stone Eater from eating you.

As the predator of a Stone Eater[]

Even though it cannot harm you, killing it will be extremely difficult (their ability blocks damage even more efficiently than the Fly's ability). Wait for it to evolve and attempt to kill it then.
You can also push it softly into the lava to weaken it by landing on top of it, although this is risky if you shove it in hard and deep. If all works well, you can likely land the last blow on its stubborn, rock-hard skin.
- This strategy also works out in mud, but the damage done is going to be completely reliant on your scythe, as mud doesn't damage players that enter it.

It is the only Character that can eat its own kind, excluding reapers.
After the Ghost became intangible to almost anything, the Stone Eater became one of the best tools to glitch entities, due to its small hitbox, its special ability, and status in the food chain, without worrying much of predators.
The Stone Eater is the only Character that can eat stones; even reapers cannot kill/eat the stones.
